Letter : Providence R.I., to Alice Jaynes Tyler, 1937 May 25.

Has obtained a copy of her book about J.J. Audubon (I who should command all, 1937), and it looks interesting; she has referred incorrectly to Francis Hobart Herrick incorrectly as "Robert Herrick". He describes his Audubon collection, which occupies a room in his house, and includes "letters and manuscripts through to the original drawing made to advertise whiskey in last month's magazines ... first editions of all of the books and some of the later editions, one of the copper plates, several books from Audubon's library", as well as a card catalog of anyone who came in contact with Audubon; he is preparing a "line-a-day" itinerary of Audubon's life. Offers her a copy of the selection of Audubon letters that he published in 1935.
